Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team. The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for managing inquiries, gathering necessary information, and ensuring a smooth intake process.

Responsibilities:
– Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for potential clients, answering inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
Information Gathering: Conduct initial consultations to gather detailed information about client needs and case specifics.
Documentation: Accurately record client information and ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule appointments between clients and legal staff.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed about the status of their cases and upcoming appointments.
Collaboration: Work closely with legal staff to ensure a seamless handoff of information and support case preparation.

Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in an office, legal or medical office setting.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with legal case management or CRM software.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Other: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must possess:

  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • 3-5 years of experience as a corporate, business, or real estate attorney
  • Proven expertise in regulatory law, with a deep understanding of cannabis-specific regulations
  • A strong track record of success in advising clients on complex legal matters
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear and concise advice
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
